Portland’s Raw & Relentless Rock’n’Roll

Straight out of Portland, Oregon — currently a hotbed of cutting-edge music — the Lovesores have built a no-nonsense rock ’n’ roll machine that rivals anything on the global stage. Fueled by a legacy of punk, garage, and high-octane rock, the band has fast become one of the Pacific Northwest's most electrifying live acts and a rising name on the international circuit.

Formed by Scott “Deluxe” Drake and Jeff Fieldhouse — the original voice and guitar of Southern California’s ‘90s garage-punk legends The Humpers — the Lovesores bring raw authenticity and firepower to the genre. Completing the line-up are Portland scene heavyweights: Boz Bennes and Adam Kattau from the Fast Takers, Alex Fast of LSD&D, and Saul Koll of 8-Foot Tender. Together, they channel the unfiltered energy of Detroit ‘69 with the snarl of ‘70s punk and the swagger of rock’s golden era.

Playing the Hits of Tomorrow Today

The Lovesores have struck a gritty balance between vintage punk sleaze and pure, riff-driven rock euphoria. Think Chuck Berry by way of The Stooges, Jerry Lee Lewis shot through with Dead Boys attitude — it’s a glorious, sweat-soaked, speaker-blowing revival of unrepentant rock ’n’ roll.

Following a successful European tour, the band hit the studio with Jim Hage at Fidelity Unlimited in Portland, with mastering by Rich Peterson, to capture their live-wire sound in its most potent form. As always, the songs deliver — raw, relentless, and memorable. Hit after hit.

The verdict? “They sound a lot like The Humpers —

which is to say, they rock like fuck.”

Lovesores are loud, fast, and unapologetically alive. If you miss the sound of real rock ’n’ roll with grit in its teeth, they’re your new favorite band. Watch them burn.

Playing The Hits Of Tomorrow Today

Yet another reason why Portland, Oregon is currently THE place to be for new music. The Lovesores have constructed a rock and roll machine that is the equal to any on the planet. Created by the combined talents of Jeff Fieldhouse and Scott «Deluxe» Drake (the original songwriting and guitar/vocal team of the 90’s SoCal garage/punk juggernaut, The Humpers), Boz Bennes and Adam Kattau (members of Portland’s own legendary Fast Takers) and Alex Fast (bassist for Portland’s heavy rock champions, LSD&D), the «Lovesores» have become, after only three years, one of the premier high energy rock and roll bands in the Pacific Northwest and are quickly generating excitement and building an enthusiastic fanbase internationally.

Four tracks on 10" vinyl is what‘s on offer and if you ever loved the «Humpers» then you know this is gonna turn out right. With their 5 smoking hot vinyl releases, the «Lovesores» have found the sweet (and sweaty) spot where Rock, Garage and Punk collide in an orgy of guitar-driven ENERGY.

Rock And Roll Animal

Hound Gawd! Records

While their last EP «Focke-Wulf vs. Spitfire» was a A-bomb, this time they're back with a real rock n' roll animal. The Lovesores return with four brand new recordings on this 10 inch vinyl, the second for Hound Gawd! Records.

On this record you’ll find exactly what you were expecting from the ex-Humpers’ front man and his new beast. They continuing to crank out some furious garage and punk influenced rock n' roll with the snarl and sleaze of '70s punk and consistent with their over-all L.A.M.F. legacy. Taking inspiration from Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry and Little Richard and bring back the glory days of unbridled, unrepentant rock n' roll but booted it up with a Detroit ’69 energy. New blood from a familiar vein.

The line-up has not changed since «Focke-wulf». You will find legendary frontman Scott «Deluxe» Drake (Humpers, Suicide Kings), guitar slinger Thee Adam Kattau (Fast Takers), bassist Alex Fast (LSD&D) and drummer Boz Bennes (Fast Takers) joint by guitarist Saul Koll (8-Foot Tender).

Lovesores has etablished themselves as an act to watch. After their European tour the band took their blistering, roadhardened form into the studio, recording and mixing with Jim Hage at Fidelity Unlimited in Portland, OR before Rich Peterson mastered the record. And at its core, the songs are going to be of the highest quality. Hit after hit.
