Pat Todd, from the legendary Lazy Cowgirls, has unleashed a twelve track wrecking ball of rock ‘n’ roll upon the world. This
is the forth offering from Todd and his Rankoutsiders, and these grooves are as raw, dirty, and driving as ever. A record full of great tunes that sounds like they came straight out of a garage.
"Blood & Treasure" features the talents of the Rankoutsider family past and present.
One time Lazy Cowgirl/Creamers alum Bob Deagle on drums make up a stellar rhythm section with a rolling bass pedal
pushing the songs along, with Nick Alexander (Rankoutsiders/L.A. Guns) and Kevin Keller trading some broken bottle guitar licks. Bassist Rick Johnson (Lazy Cowgirls) and second drummer Brian Irving (The Defendant) are tight, grooving, and emphatic regardless of volume. The harmonica of Jeremy White (The Blessings) comes in with a great blend of Americana music. Pat’s voice is spot on once again, the vocals snarl and sneer in pure rockin’ joy. "Blood & Treasure" was produced and engineered by former Sparks guitarist, Earle Mankey (The Cramps, Concrete Blonde, The Beach Boys, Possum Dixon).
"Blood & Treasure" just gives you that smokey, hard drinking club feel and the spirit and feel of a live performance.
